This month was full of excitement. Samantha learned how to crawl out of her crib (well, she actually learned how to FALL out) so we had to make the switch to a toddler bed. We converted her crib to the toddler bed and so far we have had a simi hard time. We are training her not to crawl out of it at night which is not going over so well. We are all very tired to say the least!
We also had to move EVERYTHING out of the room so that she will be safe if she crawls out at night. There is nothing in there except her bed. We also had to stack two baby gates on top of each other in her door way because we discovered she can climb over the gate if there is just one.
She is talking more now, which has helped calm her temper tantrums way down. She has about 35 words now. Some of her newer ones include grape, apple and poop :).
Samantha is a much happier girl now that we can communicate better and she has a better understanding of things. This month Grammy Taliaferro came to visit us for a week. We had so much fun and Samantha loved talking walks with her to go see the horses at the end of our street!
